![]() I found the combination of these two sliders to be the most useful tools in the entire application. The AI Accent and AI Sky Enhancer tools are located under the AI Enhance editing panel. It is fun to play with, but this is a tool I will only use occasionally. If I count how many times I had to perform sky replacement in the last 12 months, that number would only be two or three. On top of the AI-powered functionality, you also have an array of tools to manually finetune the images.Įven though the Sky Replacement tool is very effective, I do not find that it is critical for my workflow. This is when the sky library that I have been collecting for years comes in handy. The Sky Replacement tool also comes with a library of sky images ready for use, but you can also use your own photos. Unedited Photo of Escalante River in Utah Even when you have a photo where the sky is obstructed by a tree, the tool manages to pinpoint the disjointed areas of the sky. The most impressive functionality of the AI-powered tool is how well it detects the area of the sky. In Luminar 4, you can replace the sky in your photo and continue editing in the RAW environment. Before you can proceed with the sky replacement, you have to rasterize the image. Normally, sky replacement is performed in photo editing programs like Photoshop. To my surprise, the tool works extremely well and the percentage of photos where additional manual tinkering is unnecessary is extremely high. Since I know firsthand that the process of replacing the sky in a landscape photo can be a tricky and time-consuming process, I was curious about its effectiveness. The Sky Replacement tool generated the most excitement among the photo community. The effectiveness of AI is both exciting and scary because it shows us a glimpse of the near future. But that looks to be changing with the latest release of Luminar 4, which has taken a commanding lead in regard to AI advancements. The effectiveness of these tools is questionable and progressing slowly. The AI tools in Luminar 4 are very useful, useable, and effective.Įvery editing program, including Lightroom and Photoshop, use some of kind of tools powered by AI and machine learning. These days, I roll my eyes when I hear AI abbreviations used in marketing campaigns. The biggest buzz about Luminar 4 is the addition of a slew of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Since the features for both the Mac and Windows versions of Luminar is identical, I do not expect the Mac version to be any different. ![]() Today, I am offering my feedback on running Luminar 4 on my Windows desktop computer for one month. For years, the Windows version was behind the Mac version. If you are a Windows user, I am happy to inform you that, for the first time in Luminar history, both versions of the program (Mac and Windows) are identical in terms of features. My understanding is that since Skylum completely rebuilt the editing module of the program and introduced a myriad of new tools, the upgrade was not possible due to compatibility issues. You can run both versions of Luminar simultaneously. When you install Luminar 4, it does not replace the Luminar 3 installation. It is not an upgrade to Luminar 3 but is a new application. Luminar 4 is the second generation of the program since the introduction of the digital asset management (DAM). The popularity of Luminar exploded even further when they introduced the Library module to the program, which made it a viable option not only for editing photos but also for managing and organizing large photo libraries. When Skylum released the Windows version of Luminar in 2018, it immediately became the darling of newcomers in the world of photography because of the simplicity and intuitiveness of the program compared to Lightroom and Capture One. Instead, Sklyum created a completely different experience that relied heavily on filter effects and AI-powered tools. The program caught the attention of many photographers because it did not follow in the steps of industry leaders Lightroom and Capture One. Luminar is a photo editing program that was originally created by Skylum (formally known as MacPhun) as a Mac-only RAW editor.

Mahou Shoujo Site Characters: Aya AsagiriĪya Asagiri is a young girl who hates her life because she gets brutally bullied at school every day. The two realize that fate has not only brought them together to fight other magical girls, but also to uncover the truth behind the strange website and also to save the world from an upcoming apocalyptic event known as ‘The Tempest’. Soon after this, she runs into another one of her classmates, Tsuyuno Yatsumura, who can use magic to freeze time. Unable to digest the fact that she just murdered her classmates by using magic, she tries to stay calm by understanding what exactly happened. After being bullied at school, she returns home to a brother who relieves all of his academic stress by relentlessly physically abusing her. ‘Mahou Shoujo Site’ revolves around the life of a high school girl named Aya Asagari who contemplates suicide every single day. But you can still stream the anime with its original Japanese audio and English subtitles on Amazon Prime. Unfortunately, a legit English Dub of ‘Mahou Shoujo Site’ has not been released yet. Hopefully, there will be some confirmed news regarding ‘Mahou Shoujo Site’ season 2 release date by end of 2019 and as soon as that happens, we will update it here in this section. So as of now, it is hard to determine whether or not the anime will receive a sequel. But then again, the open ending of the anime is certainly a green flag for its renewal. ![]() Since the anime has completely drifted away from the story of the manga by the end of season 1, it seems very less likely that it will return for a new season. The manga has a very conclusive ending whereas the anime has its own non-conclusive original end. There is this mild rift in the opinions of the manga and anime fans because of the difference in the ending of the two. While the ones who have only seen the anime are hoping for a new season, the ones who have read the manga are saying that it’s better to go read the manga instead. ![]() This weird combination of its cutesy external appeal along with its dark and disturbing themes has caught the attention of many anime viewers. ![]() In a very short span, the anime has now become one of the most renowned names in the “moe psychological” genre. ‘Mahou Shoujo Site’ season 1 premiered on Apand with a total of 12 episodes, it came to an end on June 23, 2018. Mahou Shoujo Site Season 2 Release Date: When will it premiere? But for others, ‘Mahou Shoujo Site’ can be quite an enjoyable anime if its contradictions are taken lightly and its moral backing is well understood. And even its edgy imagery can be a little off-putting for someone who is new to the world of anime. So this version will only be enjoyable for someone who is not at all familiar with the original story. Being a spin-off of the main ‘ Magical Shoujo‘ series, this one is more or less of a repetition of a much darker story. Beatrix was born in 984, in Hainaut, Belgium. In Italy, several online fraud schemes peddling fake vaccine certificates, with fake QR codes and vaccine batch numbers, were closed down. ![]() The main perpetrators include organised crime networks, corrupt healthcare workers, and anti-vaxxers. Fraud cases are on the rise as security concerns around the Certificate mount. Whether the European Digital Covid Certificate succeeds in reducing pandemic-related fraud is yet to be seen, but indications so far show mixed results. The success and shortcomings of this scheme will be monitored closely, especially by low- and middle-income nations who might consider it a model for their own systems. This data is kept confidential from border personnel, as the QR code only confirms if a person has gone through one or more of the steps, without revealing the details. The certificate works as a digitalised proof that a person has either been vaccinated, received a negative test result, or recovered from Covid-19, facilitating safe free movement inside the EU bloc. These can be shown either on a mobile device or on paper. The certificate contains a QR code and digital signature to guard against falsification. The EU Digital Covid Certificate sets the standard as the first transnational vaccine verification mechanism for public use. A digital response to fraud – the EU Digital Covid Certificateĭigital solutions are being deployed to mitigate fraud and ensure safe travel. As border crossings have not been included in pandemic anti-corruption monitoring, the health of migrants and the corruption that they face has gone largely unaddressed in national pandemic responses. For example, at the borders in Central America, the pandemic and its certificates have created an opportunity for already corrupt border officials to increase the ‘fee’ demanded from migrants. The surge in demand for vaccine certificates offers an additional path for corrupt border authorities to make a profit. In Central America, fake negative PCR tests are sold at many border crossings, exploiting the desperation of migrants fleeing abuse and oppression. Organised crime has had a field day, and fraudulent certificates flooded the black market as demand sored. In Russia, for example, access to healthcare services has been officially tied to vaccine certification. Opponents of Covid-19 certification argue that the certificate will worsen global inequities and infringe on the rights of the most vulnerable in society. Two men were arrested in Zimbabwe for selling fake negative Covid-19 test results to travellers at border check points, and similar cases have been seen at the border between Mozambique and South Africa.Ĭovid-19 test forgery rings have been spotted and broken up across South and Central America, raising concerns of the involvement of organised crime in manufacturing, selling, and certifying Covid-19 related products and vaccines. Fraudulent negative Covid-19 test certificates have been found on travellers at international airports in the UK and Dubai. The black market for fake Covid-19 vaccines and certificates saw the opportunity – and took it. ![]() The fragmented and rapid changes in policy between nations have made it difficult for border systems to verify certificates, and easy for fake certificates to proliferate. Covid-19 certificates and fraudĬovid-19 certificates that allow people to travel internationally are vulnerable to fraud. Rather than promoting a global standard, these guidance documents leave it to bilateral and regional agreements to establish cross-border trust and ‘trust frameworks’. ![]() However, these plans changed, and the global trust framework was dropped (at least in the short term), and replaced with ‘guidance documents’. Accordingly, the World Health Organization (WHO) assembled a working group to develop a smart vaccine certificate and build a global trust framework for cross-country validation. Developing and deploying digital-based vaccination certificates globally could counter the limitations of the paper-based certificates, allowing countries to reopen more safely. Paper-based certificates are susceptible to alterations and falsification. While QR codes with digital signatures make it far more difficult to falsify vaccine certificates, they are not entirely foolproof. However, the rise in cyber-crime increases the risks of an over-reliance on these technologies, potentially allowing criminals to infiltrate the Covid vaccine certification space. Digital solutions have been a recurring theme in the pandemic response, and are regularly proposed as a route to minimising fraud in the vaccine certification process. ![]() It’s a compact device that uses a built-in 2W speaker and noise reduction technology for crystal clear calls. That’s fine if you just want a window into a Jira project - and can put up with a bit of manual cleanup - but that won’t work for everyone. So while creating a synced database only takes a few clicks, it’s not always the best solution. That’s great if you’re collaborating with people in those tools, but otherwise you’re pretty limited. They only work for a few tools: Synced databases are currently only available for Jira, GitHub, and Asana. For example, importing a Jira project for this blog post resulted in columns that were out of order and a ton of accidentally duplicated fields. They need a bit of cleanup: Since creating a synced database is done through essentially a single step - pasting a link - you might find yourself with some cleanup to do in Notion.Treat your synced database as a window into your Jira projects, nothing more. Next, you’ll need to authorize Jira in Notion. Start by creating a blank Notion page that’ll hold your synced database. Synced databases bring an entire Jira project into Notion in just a few clicks, meaning you can keep track of dozens of issues without any extra manual work. But synced databases - currently available for GitHub and Jira - take this to a whole other level. At their most basic, these connections can create individual, read-only replicas of work items from other tools, allowing you to keep an eye on their progress without leaving Notion. With Notion’s connections, you can pair tools with your Notion pages to streamline work across teams. First method: Set up a Jira → Notion integration with synced databases One method is one Notion’s newest features, while the other depends on a little help from Unito.
